Shannon's Road to Recovery: A Family in Need

Hello, I'm Courtney Brown, sister to Shannon Brown. My sister Shannon was in a horrific vehicle accident yesterday, 01/31/25, with a semi-truck and one more vehicle. Shannon is in ICU with a broken arm, ribs, hip, and leg. She has a breathing tube in her, her appendix and spleen were removed, and her stomach was left open for another surgery today. She will undergo surgery on her femur, knee, and hip to repair the damage, not to mention multiple lacerations. Her road to recovery is going to be very lengthy.

Shannon has 6 kids all under 12 years of age. She just lost her apartment, and we were in the process of moving her. The kids' belongings were in her vehicle, and we can't get into it. Three of the kids are staying with grandparents, and the rest are with me.

We are asking for donations to cover Shannon's medical expenses and monthly bills, plus clothes for the kids and added expenses. If you cannot make a donation, we ask if prayers could be sent her way. She is alive, and we are thankful for that, but the next 6 months to a year is going to be hard for her and the kids.
