Recently Shannon was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. Her course of treatment as of today is a double mastectomy with the possibility of months of radiation and /or chemotherapy. Unfortunately, there will be a significant period of time when Shannon will not be able to work. The burden of extra medical bills, along with the cost of HS tuition, has created an enormous amount of additional stress.
