Shannon's Living Celebration of a Lifetime

CELEBRATION OF LIFE EVENT

My wife, Shannon McCrimmon, and I are raising money for a living celebration of life of her 45 years so far. We are taking the opportunity not many of us have and throwing a “Celebration of a Lifetime” for her in lieu of a us having a funeral in the future. She has touched so many peoples lives that it's only appropriate that everyone is given the opportunity to celebrate with her. Everyone that knows either her or me are invited. She would love to see anyone and everyone who has played a role in her life, big or small.

The event will be held July 16, 2021 in Greenville, SC. We picked this summer to ensure that Shannon is still feeling decent enough to enjoy everyone's company and to give anyone from out of town the opportunity to come. There will be food, music and stories - lots and lots of funny stories - and you never know, maybe a dance off will break out. 

SHANNON'S STORY

Over the last nine months, Shannon has been battling a rare appendix cancer, enduring several operations and many rounds of chemo, only to recently discover the cancer will inevitably win the battle. Her infectious smile and positive attitude still prevail as she continues to live the best life that she can. 

In her life, Shannon is an accomplished author, with 10 published novels, a beloved high school guidance counselor and an incredible wife. As many of you know, she’s one of the friendliest most empathetic people you’ll ever get the chance to know. She’s THAT person in the room that keeps the conversation going and keeps it fun. Her love of travel and adventure have lead her and her husband on many adventures and have introduced them to an amazing array of acquaintances and friends. 

We both are so grateful for the continued outpouring of support from friends (both old and new), neighbors and family.
