Shannon’s journey to a healthy future

Hi my names Sarah and my lovely sister in law Shannon has been diagnosed with a brain tumor which requires surgery to determine treatment and a positive outcome. Shannon and her family live in rural Victoria but have to travel to Brisbane to have the surgery. She will be in hospital for a week and at least another week before she can come home. Shannon is no longer able to work and her husband will not be able to work during her hospitalisation and recovery. If we could help take the financial pressure off it would be one less stressor for them to face. The operation and hospitalisation is self funded as they have no private cover. Shannon and Luke have always been community oriented and help others, now they require some help. Any funds raised would go to travel and accommodation costs.

The operation is scheduled for February the same month their son begins high school.
