Since my surgery in 2021 - because of the cancer diagnosis, everything has changed. My fatigue is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. I have wrestled with lupus, lymphedema, cellulitis, glaucoma, hearing loss, lung issues, esophagus problems, two hernias and vision loss. The list is so long, its tiring to even write it. But, it's my reality.

Recently, I had an MRI that showed white matter lesions in numerous areas of my brain. The fear was MS, or meningitis, etc. However, the dr who signed off on the testing believes it's from Lupus. Nothing else explained it, so, that seems to be the answer.

However, the medicine I am suppose to take to help the Lupus, may have caused my hearing loss. There's just no clear answer right now. So, I am unclear on if I should or shouldn't restart the medicine. It's a battle.

Still, this leads me to where I am today. Starting from over 2 years ago:

I've cut down on working from ft to pt. I often go days with 0 to my name. I've seen at least 30 different doctors with some answers but, few ways to fix many of my health issues. I'm on leave from work at the moment. And at this point:

I've sold all of my belongings. I often go without. When I can, I work hard and as much as I am able to. I wrote a book - thinking, maybe it'd turn into something. Maybe it will. But, right now, I just wait. Waiting to see if disability approves me. It's going on eighteen months since I applied for it. I am roughly 4 months away from a hearing. Waiting.... It's awful.

Although, if I get a bankruptcy started, I can unload the debt that has been piling up. Get rid of a garnishment from an ER visit years ago. Perhaps, I can even help myself and my family more. It may well help with food, clothes, medical supplies and medicine, too!

I wouldn't ask if I had any other way to survive right now. Truly. Any help while I wait, is wholeheartedly appreciated.
