The hits have just kept coming. Shannon lost her husband in February of 2019, when their son was only 4 months old. Now, she's been diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer. 

Very few people have not felt the hardships that Covid 19 has imposed on us. But, the prospect of the enormous cost of cancer treatment has added a crushing weight to the heavy burden Shannon is already struggling with. 

Now she fears that her son, now two, will not only be fatherless, but will become motherless as well.
