Hello, I’m Shannon, I am 28 years old and I’m from Scotland. I need your help to raise nearly £9k in order to afford private surgery that will give me my life back. I have many health conditions & I have autism.. these are all things that have been difficult to manage from childhood to my adulthood. I have spent quite some time in hospital for many different reasons, I didn’t think I would make it to 18 years old but I did. Growing up I have always lacked confidence in how I looked but as a teenager I began to love my body for how it was, that was until I was 21 and my breasts started growing rapidly and at different rates, one being much larger than the other (abnormally large in size). I have had chronic pain since I was a child, throughout my whole body. I was diagnosed with Schueurmann’s Disease which is curvature of the spine which I take a high dose of morphine just so that I can do the smallest of tasks. I can’t bend down without them making me dizzy or breathless, I haven’t been able to wear wired bras for almost a decade, the hump on my neck is always in pain even laying down. I am afraid my quality of life is poor due to the NHS refusing me this surgery when my BMI is made worse by the weight I am carrying on my chest.

Any donations would be used only towards the surgery, there is possibly more costs associated with my existing health conditions which I will update everyone on as soon as I know what those would be, if any.
