Hello,
My name is Ckoryna Lara. I am 22 years old and a former graduate from Amundsen High school. Fortunately, I have had the honor of being captain of the swim and waterpolo team. This has gave me the ability to meet one of the most extraordinary human beings I have ever met. This wonderful soul is Shannon Suty my former swimmer, friend, and family. She also attended Amundsen High school and graduated. Not only did she graduate high school she also attended at North Park University. Apart from her being smart I have been nothing but blessed to have swam, cried, sweat, and mentor this beautiful girl. Sadly she has passed away and needs our help. She was a gorgeous soul. Shannon was very kind hearted and could brighten anyone’s day. Her talent was far beyond anyone’s reach. The hard work and dedication she showed made me want to become better in every way. All this time she always seen me as a legand/adored me but little did she know I looked up to her and her amazing heart. She sang like an angel, played instruments with grace, and swam with heart. I still can’t wrap my head around how someone so amazing can leave us so quickly. Now you may ask yourself why are you even helping her? Who is she to you? Although we may not be blood she is my family and always will be. I have made a vow to her and all my swimmers that I will ALWAYS be there for her and anyone else who has struggled with me. I love her dearly and want her family to be at ease. I want them to focus on getting better and not have to worry about expenses because she truly was the best. I give my condolences to her and her family. I love you Shannon, be at peace. “Blood makes you related, loyalty makes you family”
Once a Lady Viking always a Lady Viking.
