Shannon Strong - Support Her Next Chapter

Dear Friends of Shannon! This GoFundMe campaign has been created by her family and friends to fundraise for Shannon, who recently suffered a traumatic brain injury. This has been a devastating and life-altering event, and Shannon now faces an incredibly long and uncertain road to recovery.

On June 23, Shannon experienced a horrific motor vehicle accident and suffered life-threatening injuries. The accident caused significant damage to her brain, and after emergency treatment, she remains in ICU. Once stable she will move to the Madonna Rehab Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, as they specialize in head trauma. Shannon currently requires around-the-clock medical support.

Shannon, or as many of us call her Shanny, is a strong, vibrant Wonder Woman who always brings fun and laughter to others. She is a loving parent, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Her current absence in the lives of friends and family is deeply felt every day. We miss her smile & determination, and we are doing everything we can to help her fight for recovery.

The costs of medical care, rehabilitation, transportation, etc. are overwhelming. While insurance covers some of the basics, there can be critical treatments and therapies that are out-of-pocket. Every donation - no matter the amount - goes directly to Shannon's care and gives her a fighting chance at regaining a sense of normalcy.
