Shannon Smuck's Battle Fund

My dear friend's world was turned upside down this week. What she thought were just headaches, turned out to be a GBM (glioblastoma) tumor. On Monday April24th she was taken by ambulance from MGMC to Mercy Medical Center. By Tuesday afternoon she was in surgery for a brain biopsy. She was given the preliminary path results Wednesday morning and it took our breath away. She will recieve final path results next Thursday and from there they will devise a treatment plan which may include chemo and radiation.

There are no words to describe Shannon. She is the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend....you name it! She has always been the giver never the taker. Now is the time for us all to come together and support her and her family any way we can. Her faith and strength during these past 4 days have been nothing short of amazing and admirable.  She has a fight ahead of her but a whole army behind her.
