Shannon Parsons-McDaniel Beat Breast Cancer

In April of 2022, Shannon was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer with multiple tumors and significant spread into her lymph nodes. Shannon has faced her battle with Breast Cancer head-on and has done everything in her power to continue her daily life as normal.

The last few months have taken quite a toll, though, and it has become increasingly apparent to Shannon and her family that she can no longer sustain the physical demands of her job as a massage therapist and keep her body healthy enough to withstand her treatment. In response, she has made the difficult decision to take a leave of absence from work in order to properly rest and care for her body as she continues to fight her battle against breast cancer.

Medical care is expensive, and cancer is REALLY expensive - no matter your income. Shannon does have insurance, but the deductible is significant and we know that her treatment will last for at least two deductible periods. In addition to GoFund Me, we are working with relevant medical institutions to see if she qualifies for any grants to provide some relief. We're especially grateful to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, who recently awarded Shannon $5,000.00 to help pay for critical household expenses.

Funds donated to this GoFund me will go towards Shannon's medical expenses and support her financially while she is unable to work due to the effects of treatment. Those that know Shannon know without question that she has a heart far bigger than the little body that holds it - and would do anything to help her family and friends through a difficult time. This is her time and she needs you to help her through it.
