Shannon needs you - Will you help?

Please Help Shannon – She was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor and Bladder Tumor and one kidney has already shut down. This family is in need of your Prayers, a miracle and financial assistance.

I am Carol Long, and I am doing this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter-in-Love -Shannon Hodges. Shannon is 35 years old, the Love of my son Joshua Long’s life, and mother of 15 year old Cayden.

A few weeks ago, Shannon went to the doctor to get a check up and with a concern of a UTI. The doctor decided to run a few tests. Results: Tumor in Bladder, too big to remove. Next step Chemo, then remove.

Delay after delay – 1 kidney shut down… finally first day of Chemo – Good first day- Next morning my son awoke to Shannon having a Grand Mal seizure.

She had a total of three seizures. Test revealed that she had a Brain Tumor. 2 days later Shannon went through Brain Surgery.

This sweet family have been together for 10 years. Shannon works as at Health First Sleep Center. Even with good insurance the bills are already stacking up. Joshua just started a new job. Cayden just is starting to drive.

Shannon has a long road ahead. She has to heal from the brain surgery then get 5 rounds of radiation for the brain tumor before the bladder cancer can even be addressed. The Chemo alone is a six month long process.

Please help this young couple that are just getting started in life. They bought their first home in 2019. Then COVID hit. Joshua ended up with COVID and has since recovered.
