Hi everyone, I am creating this to help one of my best friends Shannon Fallon, who was hit by a truck at about 40mph on her bike yesterday while commuting home from work. The truck went through the light and t-boned her as she was crossing the intersection. She was thrown about 25ft into the air and about 40ft out. We are lucky she is still here today. It broke her pelvis in multiple spots and basically shatter part of her pinky finger. She will required multiple surgeries, at least a week in the hospital and a lengthy recovery including wheelchair time and lots of physical therapy. Any donations will help with mounting medical costs and finding a space for Shannon to recover since her current home is on the third floor of an apartment building with no elevator and she will need to have wheelchair access. You never know how long insurance and law suites in these case can take to help right now, so anything you can do to help will be hugely appreciated.
