It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Shannon Marie Ballantyne, who left us far too soon at the age of 39.

Born in Royal Oak, MI, Shannon was the cherished daughter of the late Kenne and Doreen Ballantyne. She graduated from Kimball High School in 2004 and went on to build a life filled with love and family. In 2000, Shannon began her lifelong partnership with Chris Belgan. Together, they were blessed with three beautiful daughters: Hanna (16), Hope (13), and Harmony (8), who were the center of Shannon’s world and a reflection of her nurturing spirit.

Shannon was predeceased by her parents, Kenne and Doreen Ballantyne, and her grandparents Frank and Bunny Knorp, and George and Helen Ballantyne. She leaves behind her brothers, Kenne (Mandy) Ballantyne, Kris (Leigh Ann) Ballantyne, and Nicholas Ballantyne, as well as her treasured nephews, Drew and Cole Ballantyne, and her beloved niece, Makenna Ballantyne. She is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her kindness and warmth deeply.

Shannon was a vibrant and loving person whose heart always made room for others. Whether it was through her enduring love for her daughters, her unbreakable bond with her siblings, or her friendships that stood the test of time, Shannon’s life was a testament to the strength of family and love.

Memorial services will be held at a later date to celebrate Shannon’s remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with memorial costs and provide ongoing support for her three daughters, ensuring Shannon’s love and legacy continue to guide them.

Shannon will be forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
