{ABOUT THE MASTERSONS}

Hello! In support of my sister and brother-in-law, thank you for taking a moment to share in this unexpected journey to parenthood!

If you know Shannon and Jared Masterson, then you know their love, energy and prayers are usually focused outward…on their Friends, Family and Community…so on behalf of the Mastertons I am seeking your generosity.

The Mastersons began their happily ever after five years ago this October! While starting a family was certainly a part of their story, they enjoyed spending some time as a husband and wife and really diving deeper into their partnership and marriage – thinking that when they were ready, they could start their family.

{WHAT HAPPENED}

With hope in their hearts, and faith as their foundation they decided it was time to make their dream of having a family, real. After trying to conceive for almost a year and a half they hadn’t had any luck conceiving naturally. Together Shannon and Jared saw a specialist, at which point they learned that their chance to conceive on their own was 2%. IVF is their only option.

{WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT}

Infertility is such a painful battle, and one that couples often fight alone. IVF is expensive. You don’t often see couples going through this battle reaching out or asking for help very often…maybe because infertility is hard to talk about, and money is even harder. Maybe it’s because of pride or shame. It can be uncomfortable to be vulnerable.

{HOW THE MONEY WILL BE SPENT}

All generous donations will be used to fund the medical costs associated to the IVF process, which is sadly not covered by insurance:

• Stimulation injections
• Egg retrieval surgery and anesthesia
• Fertilization and embryo culture
• Genetic Testing
• Cryopreservation
• Frozen embryo transfer

They say raising a baby takes a village…let this village help ease the financial burden and make Baby Masterson possible!
