Shannon and Jennifer’s motorcycle accident

Hello, my name is Trent Kerr and we are raising money for my brother and his family. They were involved in a motorcycle accident on June 10, 2022.

As a result, my brother Shannon and his wife Jennifer were hospitalized. They both received injury’s to the left leg. Jennifer was taken to the hospital by ambulance and Shannon was flown to Mercy in Des Monies by LifeFlight.

Jennifer had deep lacerations to her leg which required staples and stitches to repair, along with road rash. She was kept in the hospital until she was stable enough to go see her husband.

Shannon received multiple fractures to his leg (above the knee and below), a concussion, some bruising on the left lung, and road rash. He was hospitalized for 11 days. They treated him for his concussion and he had surgery on his left leg where they repaired the bones with a rod and screws.

Shannon and Jennifer are both home now with their youngest daughter Kelsey. Jennifer now requires crutches and Shannon is in a wheelchair. As you could imagine their daily lives have changed tremendously.

Due to this accident Shannon and Jennifer have not worked since June 10th and cannot return to work for several months because of their injuries.

I am asking for your donation to help give them one less thing to worry about….BILLS!

Any help would be appreciated! Your donation will help toward utility bills, gas, and help with livestock feed. They both have multiple doctors appointments every week. This requires them to drive to Ankeny several times a week! With the price of gas any amount would be a great help!
