Dear friends, family, and compassionate community,

This year, I am entering a medical study that offers hope for long-term relief from a rare genetic condition I’ve been living with for many years.

To participate, I’ll need to stop taking my regular life-saving medication and rely solely on emergency treatments to manage acute attacks. This shift means I may face a summer filled with painful symptoms, physical discomfort, and emotional strain. Swelling, fatigue, and other unpredictable symptoms are likely to affect both my day-to-day functioning and my ability to work consistently in my private therapy practice.

While I will receive a modest stipend for participating in the study, it won’t cover the financial impact of missed work—or the costs of the healing supports I’ll need to stay grounded through this time.

I’m seeking to raise $3,000 to help with:

Income loss from missed client sessions (I have already terminated with three clients to ensure I get additional rest)

Acupuncture, bodywork, and wellness care to support my body through this transition

Any additional medical or support needs that may arise, and general funds to make sure finances don't become a stressor.
