Shanna's Grace

We all take life for granted one way or another, right?  Then one day you are informed that someone you love dearly, went to work, as normal and then suddenly, she doesn't realize where she is. She's rushed to the ER, several tests, MRI and without warning, the doctor informs her husband that she has Creutzfeldt-Jakobs Disease. A very rare, aggressive and fatal disease. In disbelief, he gets a second opinion, then a third.  Life changed in an instant for this family. They need EVERYONE praying for them and anything that you can offer would be helpful as Shanna was told on May 5th that she could no longer work, drive or be alone. This along with the mounting medical bills has added more strain to this family, who is still trying to process this heartbreaking diagnoses. Shanna is a mother of a 17, 13 and 4 year old. Her children, husband and family are witnessing things that are unimaginable.  Shanna is one of my closest friends. We lived together for several years and have been at each others side for all of lifes ups and downs for the past 25 years and I will be beside her through this. I'm asking everyone I know to pray for this family and help in anyway you can. Not only is my heart aching but my soul is broken. There are days that we understand God's plan and then there are days that his plan is difficult to grasp.
