original post.
Thank you ALL in advance for reading this post.
To all of you who know Shanie, and for those of you that don’t, I don’t need to tell you how wonderful of a person she is. She’s a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and colleague. Her smile and laughter brightens up any room and her positive vibes are contagious. She has been a phenomenal employee to Heritage Valley Health System (Valley Internal Medicine Beaver) for decades and has provided excellent care and compassion to patients she serves in Beaver and surrounding counties.
Unfortunately, Shanie has been diagnosed (1st week of February) with pancreatic cancer and is beginning treatment. On Shanie’s behalf, we ask for help from her wonderful community. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. No donation is too small. Donations can be given anonymously as well. GoFundMe platform is one option. Other monetary options can include check, cash, Venmo, etc.
Our last request is to please keep Shanie and her family in your prayers. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or ideas (business donations, dinner takeout donations, etc).
