Help Shane Crosby Kick Rectal Cancer's Ass!

Our dear friend is in trouble and urgently needs our help. For decades Shane has entertained us with his beautiful music and songwriting. Generous to a fault, he’s always been there for us when we’ve needed him but now he needs our support as he fights for his life.

About a month ago Shanes’s close friend Solange rushed him to the ER after he’d spent a sleepless night suffering excruciating lower abdominal pain. After a few days of scans, tests and several uncomfortable procedures he was diagnosed with stage 3 lower rectal cancer. Needless to say, Shane’s been blindsided by this and like many of us he does not have the sufficient savings to cover such an emergency. Though he is on MediCal, he’s still waiting for his disability insurance to kick in. Of course when it does, it will only replace about two thirds of his normal income and he’s sure to miss several months of work. On top of that, he’s not able to drive due to his illness. Among other expenses that are sure to arise, Shane will need funds for transportation, rent, utilities and food, not to mention any treatment costs or medical bills not covered by insurance.

The road ahead for Shane will be incredibly difficult to say the least. The last thing he needs is the stress and anxiety of not knowing whether or not he'll be able to afford the financial burden of his journey.
