Shane's Medical and Recovery Fund

On September 14th Shane was in a severe UTV accident and severed the main artery in his left arm. He almost lost his life and has been in ICU for nearly a month. Shane is currently hospitalized and his discharge date is still unknown. Shane has had 12 surgeries and will continue to have more in his long road to recovery.As a recent new hire to the railroad he does not qualify for financial benefits. Shane’s bank account has quickly been exhausted as he has been out of work for the past month and it is undetermined when he will return.

During his road to recovery from this tragic incident he will incur medical out of pocket costs. In order to maintain his personal financial responsibilities, we are asking for help from friends and family during this difficult time.

Shane continues to stand strong and be positive in his healing process. He is able to get up and be mobile and his hand in improving everyday. We are excited with the progress he has made. Shane needs all the support he can get, as this is no short recovery. Every little bit helps and is appreciated in supporting Shane.
