Shanes desperate fight

Hi my name is Michelle,and I am fundraising for my brother Shane 52 years of age who was serverely injured in a motor vehicle accident back in February this year,which wasnt his fault.

Shane had a fractured wrist,tears in his shoulder,fractured discs,tears in thoracix,tears in his neck,discs that were impinging into his spine etc..

He was going to multiple specialists for 10 months telling them how sore he is how its not getting any better but getting worse. He actually went to a couple of "Specialists" in the latter months saying how his bones are aching and nothing hes taking for pain relief is working. They were all fobbing him off because this was through insurance from a car accident.

Finally he went to the hospital to try and get some reason as to why he wasnt getting any better but in fact much much worse.

They ran alot of tests and did a PSA blood test aswell. Shane had NO symptoms up until a couple of weeks prior with which he thought he was taking too many pain medications (just panadol and nurofen) and thought they had blocked his bladder,so therefore his urine was starting and stopping. His PSA came back and the numbers were through the roof. It was supposed to be sitting at no higher than 2.5 and it was 2241.

All of a sudden there was a rush on scans,they gave him a bone marrow biopsy(which came back with abnormalities),a prostate biopsy all within a few days.

Shanes blood was sooo low that he had to be given 4 bags of blood intraveniously.They couldnt even start any chemo because his bloods are so low and still havent as yet as they need to get his bloods stable. They also put him on some of the strongest medication for his pain(that they now believed he had) This poor guy had been walking around with bone cancer secondary to prostate cancer for the last 10 months(no wonder he wasnt getting any better) The cancer is in EVERY single bone(no exaggeration)

He presented to hospital on the 2nd December,and once they knew what was going on with him they actually told him that if he came in around Christmas time that it would have been too late for ANY treatment.

Shane has two young sons,just 12 and 14 yrs of age. His prognosis isnt good,but they are trying everything they can to contain it. He has a mortgage and bills that are rising every single day. He also has medications that he needs to buy which are soooo expensive and with him not working now he cant afford to buy them,so hes going without.

This is the biggest shock and the saddest thing to ever imagine being just 52 years of age. Shanes diagnosis has come out of knowhere and he needs help.

Please if you could spare even a couple of dollars to help Shane attain the expensive medication he needs to be able to keep going for as long as possible that would be sooo greatly appreciated. Shane has been a sole trader handyman for the past 30 years and if he doesnt work,he doesnt get paid.

I understand that everyone has just had Christmas and things are tight everywhere but please help me keep my precious brother and my nephews father here for as long as possible.
