Shanequa Walker Lost It All In A Fire

Yesterday there was  a 3-alarm fire at the apartment building where my daughter, Shanequa Walker and her family resides, located at 957 Woodycrest Avenue, Bronx, NY.  The fire started on the 5th floor right above her apartment., spreading through her apartment and other apartments on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors.  I thank God that my grandchildren were with me, my son-in-law was at work and most of all, I give praises to God because my daughter was asleep when the fire started, but God saw fit to wake her up in the nick of time to be able to escape the engulf of the fire , before it spread throughout her apartment, with only the pajamas she wore. She inhaled a mass amount of smoke which made her gasp and cough, but God spared her life.  Unfortunately, they lost everything; all their belongings, clothes, footwear, furniture, food, and daily necessities.  This has been a vey traumatizing and fearful experience for my daughter and her family, as well as for me, and we are asking for any assistance that you may be able to give.  Your donation would be greatly appreciated and will mean more to us than our words could ever express.
