As many of you know, my sister Shaneka Brown suffered a brain stroke on January 27th  and to this day is still hospitalized. All of us are praying daily, around the clock hoping God will turn this around in Shaneka's favor. With God's prayer, we know that her daily life as we once all knew can be returned in a twinkle of an eye. We also know with doctor’s care, therapy, love, support and most important God’s Grace and Mercy Shaneka can and will resume to normality. 

 At this point, all her finances have been exhausted to cover her daily living expenses. Although paperwork is in process for other financial support to begin, it is a process that has to be followed and could take some time. I am reaching out to Family and Friends who know and love my sister asking for financial support to cover her daily living expenses so that she can continue to stay focused on her full recovery. We don’t want her to worry about things out of her control, especially since she needs to center all of her attention on getting back to the Shaneka we knew prior to January 27th. I am asking for all donations within your reason, no set dollar amount, so that her living expenses can be paid in full until she’s at least able to resume to normality and/or get the support from other entities. I know my sister is a fighter and will fight to get back to 100% soon. She would be ever so grateful to know that people are in her corner during this unforeseen medical condition. It will most definitely put her mind at ease and further confirm to her that she is not alone on this fight to recovery.
