SHANEEN NEEDS A NEW HEART.....ASAP!

Hey everyone! My name is Jamie Williams and I am a friend of Don and Shaneen. Some of you know the history with Shaneens heart and for those who don't, here is a little background info for you.  Shaneen was born with a heart defect called Tricuspid Atresia,  where one of the valves in her heart didn't form properly .  She had 2 heart surgeries as a baby, her third surgery at  6 years old and a fourth one in 2014 at age 33.  

Thurs 09/19 Shaneen received the news that there was a donor heart for her and that she would be receiving this gift the following day. On Friday 09/20 she went into surgery to receive the donor heart.  On Saturday 09/21, Doctors shared the news that Shaneens new heart wasn't functioning like it should and that she had a condition called Primary Graft Failure which is a life-threatening complication of heart transplantation. She has been in ICU on life support since and now is in a critical position waiting for another heart.

Don has been right by her side through all of this and although he does have some personal/vacation time he can use from work, soon those funds will run out and he will be off work without pay.  Once Shaneen receives a new heart, and is discharged from the hospital, it will be quite some time until he will be able to get back to work because she will need around the clock care at home.

I am asking for our families, friends and our community to contribute a small financial gift during this trying time. The funds being so generously donated to Don and Shaneen will help with paying bills, gas to and from Seattle, and will help replace the wages that will be lost when his vacation/personal time runs out.
