My name is Shannon Lee and I am the sister/sister-in-law of Shane and Ruthie Miller. I'm starting this Go-Fund-me for my brother and his precious wife. Several months back Ruthie started having a really rough time with her knee. She went to a Dr here in town that referred her to an orthopedic in Mansfield. It was discovered that she has a tumor in the bone behind her knee cap. They don't know as of right now if the tumor is malignant or not and they won't know until they are able to remove it and send it off to pathology. Ruthie has worked for Wal-Mart for 30 years or more. She is a devoted employee however since the issues with her knee started she has had to go on disability since this tumor prohibits her from walking 10-12 hours a day and climbing ladders. Shane and Ruthie work very hard for the sweet little life they have and they did not, nor ever would have, asked me to start this Go-Fund-Me for them.
I myself have been guilty of seeing Go-fund-Me pages and being skeptical. But this page is different. If you have read this far and feel led to help then I want to thank you but this post is a little different. Shane has recently started a new business in Brownwood and the surrounding areas. Craftsman Covenant Industries. And he is asking for work to be able to provide for his wife's surgery. He is an upholsterer, Master mechanic and a Master leather craftsman! My brother is an artist! He has hand carved caskets on display in a museum in Houston. He would never tell you these things. He also has a fully restored 1967 dune buggy that he is wanting to sell. If you have some work you would like done please message me either here or on Facebook and I will get you in touch with him. I know a lot of AMAZING people who find the blessing for themselves hidden in blessing others. Please bless my brother by giving him the opportunity to provide this much needed surgery for his wife.
Please pray for Shane and Ruthie as they face these hardships.
