This October, I'm running 100 miles to raise money for the American Cancer Society. For every mile I run, I'll personally donate $1 to this cause.
Three and a half years ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The finale of my high school career was stolen from me. When treatment ended, running became part of how I got my strength and my life back. Every mile was proof I was still moving forward. Now, every mile I get to run is because of research, treatment, and people who gave when it mattered most, and it's my turn to give back.
The American Cancer Society holds top ratings from Charity Navigator, the Better Business Bureau, Wise Giving Alliance, and Candid, so you can give with confidence knowing your donation goes to work.
Every mile is hard-won, and every dollar helps fund research, patient support, and hope for someone facing what I faced. I'm running so more cancer patients get the chance to run again one day, too. Thank you for running this one with me. :)
