Shane Paul's Battle

On September 2nd, Shane and a group of friends were venturing out for an evening elk hunt in the Laramie Peak area. Shortly after departing from camp, Shanes UTV became involved in a single UTV accident, resulting in the need for immediate medical care. He was STAT flown to the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming where he underwent an emergency surgery to address a spinal cord injury that was incurred during the accident. Currently, Shane and his family are waiting to see if the temporary paralysis from the chest down subsides, rendering him the ability to utilize his limbs as before. Shane will continue medical care at Wyoming Medical Center as he will need treatment in the days and weeks ahead.

In order to help Shane's family, a GoFundMe is being set up to aide in any financial needs that they may incur. Wyoming Medical Center is about 3 hours from the Pauls' home, so it's quite a trek back and forth, and currently due to COVID restrictions, only one visitor is allowed per day to visit Shane.
