Shane Moffat Memorial Fund
Donation protected
We have created this go fund me page to help support the family of Shane Moffat in their time of need. They have suffered the devastating loss of several family members within the last three months. It is with a heavy heart that we convey this message of the unexpected passing of Shane “Shaney Boy” Moffat, due to complications from a severe asthma attack. Known for his bright green eyes, luscious lashes, contagious smile and infectious laugh, he will be missed tremendously. Shane was a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, and coworker. He loved his family, friends, and his cats Luna, Tobey, and Spidey. Shane was a people person. All of his neighbors knew him by name, even the garbage men. He was the kind of young man that would rather talk on the phone, than text.
When Shane was younger he and his sister would dance around the basement to Rod Stewart’s, “We’re having a party!” Shane is in a place where everyday is truly paradise. With his infectious smile, contagious laugh and love of people, you know he is the life and light of the party. Until we dance again Shaney Boy. Shane will continue to live through others. He is providing the ultimate gift , the gift of life, by being an organ donor.
The last three months have been extremely difficult for the Moffat family. We are trying to at least alleviate one aspect of the family’s unfortunate series of losses with financial assistance towards medical bills and final services payment. Lovingly written by Stephanie Birmingham. Sent on behalf of Kim Joly, Susan Leonard, Amy Moore, Stephanie Birmingham, and Lauren Cook.
Please consider making a donation in honor of Shane.
