I am writing to let you know about the loss of my closest friends son, Shane William Thomas Meeks V. Shane was 15 years and 6 days old when he took his own life, after a beautiful family Thanksgiving celebration. Shane was also a close friend to my daughter and we agreed this was something we could do to be there for his family.

I am starting this page because everyone keeps asking if there is anything they can do, and this is something that would be extremely helpful for the family, as this is never something any parent can plan for.

We are absolutely devastated by Shane's passing and appreciate any support, should you be able to help. Thank you.
