We are heartbroken to share that Shane Massie passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a grieving wife, a wide circle of friends, and countless lives he touched through his service, compassion, and unwavering kindness. He was my best friend, and I can't tell you how much I already miss him.

Shane spent his life in service to others, first as a police officer and detective in Mississippi and then in New Orleans. It was there that he met the love of his life, Lau, and together they built a life full of adventure, laughter, and love.

Shane was a loyal friend and someone who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His passing has left an enormous void, especially for his wife, who now faces the heavy burden of funeral expenses and the sudden costs of life without him.
