Support for Shane Martin’s Fight Against Colon Cancer

In June 2025, my dad, Shane Martin, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. The tumor is the size of a baseball, and the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes, he has a long road ahead that includes multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation.

Shane is a hardworking carpenter, a dedicated father of four—Jackie, Samantha, Aaron, and me (Brianna)—and a loving grandfather to five grandkids: Annabella, Vanessa, Violet, Scarlett, and Shane Liam.

If you don’t know my dad, he’s been sober for 22 years, part of the 1% who found recovery and never looked back. He’s the kind of guy who’ll give you advice even when you didn’t ask for it—and it usually turns out to be right. He loves fishing, gardening, and the people in his life with his whole heart.

Because he’s worked as a self-employed carpenter for years—mainly through connections he’s made in his sobriety journey—he doesn’t have health insurance. Now, as he prepares for a colostomy surgery, followed by radiation, chemo, and a major tumor removal surgery, the financial pressure is overwhelming.

What We’re Raising Funds For:

* Medical bills (surgeries, chemo, radiation, recovery)

* Transportation to and from treatments

* Living expenses while Shane is unable to work

* Long-term recovery and health support

Our goal is to take some of the burden off so he can focus on healing—not just fighting to stay afloat financially.
