It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of everybody’s friend Shane James. The James family along with all of the horse community lost a son yesterday. A life so young and vibrant taken much too early. His life was tragically lost in a motorcycle accident. Please know that he did not suffer. Those who knew Shane, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Shane and his family are well known and loved in the horse community. Shane lit up the room when he walked in with his welcoming smile. If someone was ever hurt or sad he was the first to lift them up. Shane even filled in once as a last minute prom date!Shane was wise beyond his years and even from a teen, he was the one to jump in and help anyone at anytime.
Shane was also the hardest worker! He worked several jobs at a time. Three years ago he was in another accident that nearly took his life. He fought through that with his chin up and bettered his life. The last three years everyone has watched this boy grow into a self confident man. One thing everyone can say about Shane is he had the biggest heart of anyone. We can all learn from his kindness and love for others.
The family would like to have a funeral and memorial here and possibly have his body laid to rest in Oklahoma with the rest of his family. It is our hope that we can help the family with these expenses.
At this time, let’s remember Shane’s everlasting smile and witty sense of humor. He will be missed by all of us lucky enough to have had him in our lives. He was a cherished son, brother, boyfriend & friend.
As close family friends, Vicki and I would like you to know how these donations will help the James family. When faced with a tragedy like this, financial concerns come to mind. This account was created to assist in the funds needed to lay Shane to rest and to celebrate his life.
Both Vicki Crabtree, and myself, Jen Willson, have been authorized by Kelly and Eddie James to facilitate the withdrawl of such funds on behalf of the James family.
