Y’all know I almost NEVER post so this must be a good one…. OHHH it’s a good one! This kid is on fire, SHANE CRAVENS just aged out of foster care in June when he turned 18 and has hit the ground running! It’s about time foster kids get more props and after 16 years in and out of foster care Shane needs a little boost. #ten4shane

Shane’s Story…

IMAGINE THIS, Shane first entered foster care when he was only 2 years old after he was left with his young siblings alone in a motel room. He was in and out of foster care and bounced around 19 different placements until he recently aged out. Despite a crazy childhood, he is one amazing guy, super motivated and always happy. On June 18th shane graduated highschool and on that very SAME day moved out of foster care to live completly on his own. I met this awesome kid and became his “transition coach” just one week before his graduation. Unfortunately, less than 3% of kids who age out of foster care go on to earn a college degree, but Shane will beat the odds for sure. He started college Aug 23rd!!
