Shane and Lisa's Challenge for Charity.
Hi Everyone Lisa here.
Myself and my brother Shane have challenged ourselves to complete Sea to Summit in aid of The Irish Cancer Society.
We have chosen The Irish Cancer Society because we have seen the great work that they carry out, especially the Night Nurse Service,
We have both recently witnessed these Amazing Nurses at work. We were so in Awe of the way they carry out their duties with such Respect, Compassion and Care, that we felt we should do something to give a little back
Closer to home as many of you know we lost our Dad to cancer 33 years ago. I was only 4 at the time and Shane was 16.
This disease had a big impact on us at a young age. We are doing this fundraising to try and help anyone who may find themselves in the same situation.
We have signed up for Sea to Summit in Westport on the 9th of November.
We would ask anyone who is able to please help support The Irish Cancer Society.
