Shanah's Courage, Our Cause

Hello everyone. My name is Shaun Pack, and I started this gofundme page for my little sister, Kara Shanah. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2023. She's had to undergo 6 months of chemotherapy treatments and a recent double mastectomy. We thought she was close to being done with everything, but the doctors have recommended another 10 months of chemotherapy, which she started on June 3rd. Her husband, Eric, told me it makes her pretty sick at times, which she hides from everyone. That's just the kind of person she is....always worried about others over herself. I guess that's just her nurse nature shining through. I know 5 years ago when I was on life-support and fighting for my life, she was right by my side fighting for me.

All this to say, I know she applied for disability and hasn't been able to work since all this started, which has to be taxing on Eric and the family with just one income and trying to put three kids through college. Eric told me they had budgeted for what the doctors had originally told them, but they never expected another year of 10 months of chemotherapy treatment and 2 more reconstruction surgeries.

We all know how expensive medical bills can be these days, especially when it involves the word "cancer." If you feel so inclined to give, it would be greatly appreciated. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
