Shan Wilcox family

I'm Debbie Nowak Evitts. I grew up in Sharon Springs and graduated from WCHS in 1981. You've probably heard that Shan Wilcox passed away on Friday, Sept 24 due to Covid. Shan leaves behind his wife, Teresa, and his 3 very young sons: Nataniel who is 8, Zayden 6, and Matthias 5. Teresa is a stay-at-home mom, and sadly, Shan did not have life insurance to assist with final preparations. I've never conducted a fundraiser before, but Shan was a big part of my years in Sharon Springs, and I don't think things were always easy for him, so I feel it in my heart to help. So many of us were taught our awesome typing skills by Shan's mom, Mrs. Wilcox. I told Shan a few years back that I still feel proud that I can type pretty well because of her. I have kept in touch with Teresa and Shan over the last several years and they are incredibly proud of their little boys. They have also continued to be foster parents and they have loved helping babies get a good start in life.
I know that this is a bad time and so very many are hurting in so many ways, so I feel bad asking for anyone to give to a fundraiser. But if you can and are willing, it would be so appreciated by Teresa and her little boys. If you can't, you can help by sharing and by praying for comfort in the days and months ahead. Thank you!
