Hi, my name is Lauren. I am the daughter of Richard “Shamu” Scott Simonds. He is currently on hospice and close to being called home with our Lord very soon. My dad’s wishes are to be cremated and for his ashes to be spread across Lake Tahoe on a boat as that was his favorite thing to do in the summer growing up. My dad has also wished for all his loved ones to have a celebration of his life followed by a big bbq cookout like he loves doing when he was well and able bodied. As some may know, I am my father’s only child as well as being a single mother to my lil boy handling all of this on my own. I am asking for help in this time no matter the amount great or small as everything helps. If you are not able to financially help in any way, Prayers are always welcomed and appreciated. The funds will be used for his cremation, celebration of life, permit to spread his ashes in Lake Tahoe as well as the funds to take the trip to Lake Tahoe for me and the ones closest to me through this time. I appreciate each and everyone of you who have helped, loved, supported and prayed for my son and I through this time Thank you all in advance.
