Shadrach BoBoy Hesa

Shadrach Boboy Hesa is 15 years old. He is one amazing young man who is very much loved by both the community, his family, and most of all, his love for his God, Jehovah. Recently he and his family received news that he has Osteosarcoma Bone Cancer in his leg, and upon further evaluation found that it is also in his lungs. His current treatment plan is over the course of 29 weeks. Jimmy and Nelina Hesa, his parents, are both members of the Cleburne Congregation in the Marshallese group. They are making great sacrifices to be by his side through this long road ahead of them. As any parent knows, when your child is sick, there is no greater pain than to not be able to take away pain and suffering from your child and to fix it. Boboy is being very brave and his family and friends are continuing to be by their side, with much comfort and support. Yet, despite this, comes great financial burden. 
We remember the scripture found at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4.  Despite all that they are going through, they are still able to keep a smile on their faces. We think of the hope that we have, and that this is temporary. However, to ease some of the burden the family is having to endure right now, and those to come, some friends of the family have created a place for others to help out.
