So some of you may know and others may not but my sister Shamon was rushed to the hospital on Friday. She had developed an infection and it went septic. Her blood sugar had spiked to 890 and she needed emergency surgery to remove the infection. The prognoses was serious but positive. However, Saturday her heart started having issues and by Sunday we were told that she has no brain function. She is survived by her parents Junior and Shannon, Her daughter Maddie (4), her sister Courtney. Many extended family and Friends. We were all affected greatly by having Shay in our lives and we will miss her greatly.

This was a sudden and unexpected event. The family is in need of assistance for medical, funeral and burial services. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

After setting up the arrangements I have lowered our goal. I appreciate everything and everyone. Any funds we raise beyond our goal will go towards Maddie’s transition to a new normal. She is a strong little girl who is doing as well as she can. We appreciate the support of everyone who ever loved Shay or Maddie.
