“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.”
Starbucks Employees Are Called “Partners” Starbucks believes in calling all employees partners because the term fosters a sense of equality and shared vision. Shamani was our partner, and she was family. All of us at Starbucks shared equal love for her. Two of our partners even had the pleasure of going to high school with her. Shamani was a beautiful girl with a bright future. I had the pleasure of working alongside her at Starbucks for a couple of months, she was always the one to brighten up the mood constantly. Whenever a song would come on that she knew, she would dance or even sing. What a beautiful voice she had, it was always nice to hear her sing. I remember us making frappes just a couple of days ago together, where she wished to put many things into so we could try it. When we heard the tragic news of her passing, we were all distraught and in shock. Not being able to hear her beautiful voice again, or see her impressive dance moves hurt. However, we are able to carry on Shamani through us, through our store. We will continue to encourage her positivity in life, and will invite it into our store. Even if you have a couple of dollars, anything helps. If not, sharing does so much as well. We appreciate any and all donations. Any and all donations will be received by her family, and to be used for any funeral costs or any other costs. Thank you Shamani, we will eternally miss you dearly.
