Shalyn's Big Dream!

My dream is to bring love, support, and positivity to people that are currently living and or moving into their dreams through an artistic style called paper quilling. Similar to how the Native American’s put a prayer into every bead that is sewn into their dresses. I put a prayer into every quilled piece that I add to my work!

The money that I earn through GoFundMe will help pay for a pilgrimage to Bali, Indonesia with my mentor Mary Morrissey in February 2016! This GoFundMe is also an opportunity for me to get started on my dream!

How long is this campaign?

What is paper quilling?
The art of making decorative designs out of thin strips of rolled paper.

How delicate are the paper quilled works?
All my works will be glazed with a layer of water resistant adhesive, that will reinforce the strength of the paper as well as make the work resistant to water. The paper is also acid free, so the color will not fade. But at the end of the day it still is paper, so make sure it is in a safe place and wrapped carefully when packed away.

How do I get my paper quilled work customized? 
I will contact everyone who ordered a personalized work to get information on what you’d like on your piece (colors, design, and quote) and any intentions you’d like me to keep in mind as I am working on the piece.

When will I get my artistic gifts?
Once you've ordered, I will start creating your piece and any works that are intended to be holiday gifts wil be sent within the first week of December. Any other paper quilled works will be sent out throughout the month of December! My music will be sent out when the GoFundMe ends, and you will recieve thoses through email. 

How are your items priced?
I've calculated the design time, quality of materials, loving care and intention that goes into each piece.
