Shaldon Post Office- Setting Up Fund

Shaldon Community Post Office continues in a new guise as a Community Interest Company (CIC) . A CIC is an officially recognised non-profit organisation run by a group of villagers in a formal capacity to ensure the continuation of this vital village amenity. The existing staff have agreed to stay on, and you will see a few new faces once training has been completed.

Due to the generosity of anonymous benefactors, we can continue to operate from the same premises and we cannot thank them enough for their generosity. 
 
Thanks go to all our supporters because we have now managed to complete the first stage and have secured the future of the Post Office in Shaldon. Without you, none of what we have achieved would be possible.

We are continuing to fund raise, because we have huge ambitions and ideally would love to be able to buy somewhere that we know we can operate from in the future to give us complete security. This is a huge and daunting target, but we feel it can be achievable because this is a long-term project. 

Please could you help us in trying and donate to our cause. We are not expecting huge amounts as we realise times are hard, but just a pound would make all the difference.
