Shakura

Hi my name is Felicia and I am fundraising for my sister Shakura. At the age of 27, she has recently been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer after months of pain. The cancer has metastasize to various parts of her body (brain, spine, lungs, and liver). Our family has been shaken to its core by this news. Shakura is an integral part in the lives of her siblings; both biological and chosen. She loves with her whole heart and is an irreplaceable part of our family.

We are seeking immediate help with life expenses and transportation to and from treatment as radiation has already begun. She is also currently recovering from an emergency spinal surgery that removed a cancerous lesion. The lesion caused a fracture in the spine that was the source of her initial pain.

Our dream is to make our sister as happy and comfortable as possible as we continue this rollercoaster of a journey. Our greatest wish is to have the ability to take her on the vacation of a lifetime and make the most on the time we have together. She deserves all the amazing things in life.
