Hello, we are Kasa Indian Eatery, based in San Francisco. We are starting this go fund me for our employee Shakti Dahal who was hit by a car while on his way to his shift at Kasa on June 2nd. He was one block away from work when the car struck him unconscious. He was taken to the hospital and had surgery on his leg.

Shakti is new to the US. He immigrated here with his family from Nepal and has only been working at Kasa for two months before his accident. He has two young daughters and his wife Pramila also works and takes care of the kids. Shakti was the main household earner but now he is unable to work due to this accident until he recovers. Being new to the US, they do not have much safety net or familial support here. As his employer, we are doing our best to help support him and his family. We would like to reach out to our community to see if we can help raise further financial support for them during this difficult time.

All funds raised will go directly to Shakti, Pramila, and their kids to help pay for rent, groceries, and medical expenses. We appreciate your help!
