Shaine and Cassandra
Donation protected
Shaine and Cassandra left Flordia to drive up to Michigan in their RV home to surprise their family and father for Father's day. However, within 12 minutes of making it home, things took an unfortunate turn when two semi trucks collided and they crashed into them. Cassandra was thankfully able to walk away with few injuries. Unfortunately, Shaine was pinned to the steering wheel. The drivers seat cab was wrapped around him and his leg was crushed and pinned from the metal. It took 2 hours for EMS get him out of the vehicle. Once at the hospital he recieved 2 blood transfusions and had to be transferred to a second hospital to attempt to save his leg. He also sustained minor fractures to his hip and sternum. He did get surgery involving pins and rods however the doctors are unsure if the leg will need to be amputated. Shaine does not have medical insurance. He has a very long road of recovery ahead of him. He will be out of work for a long time. They lost their home and all of their belongings and spend the last of their money putting gas in their RV to make it home. Any donations to help Shaine and Cassandra in this very difficult time will be more than appreciated.
