Shaiannes Battle with paralysis: A mother's love

I'm making this for my cousin, Stacey Ricketson. On April 27th, 2025, her daughter Shaianne's body shut down. Her right arm started hurting, so she decided to go to the emergency room. After a 30-minute ride, she could no longer move her arm at all. She then went to the hospital, and while there, she became paralyzed in her legs and then went into respiratory failure. Her daughter now sits in Westchester Medical Center, paralyzed from the shoulders down and on a ventilator. She's due to get a tracheotomy today.

The Ronald McDonald's House won't help her because Shaianne is 21 years old. Stacey sleeps in her car in the parking lot every night to be there every morning as soon as visiting hours start. They are on day 12, and since she's been there every day, her home was burglarized. Her landlord assumed she was moving her things out. He then went into the home and threw out the remaining items left by burglars. Sentimental items, including her father's ashes, as well as other precious things, were also lost.

She is looking for any kind of help with gas, parking, Westchester area hotel stay, and food. Due to her house being burglarized, she is now in need of clothes and other household items. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Her goal is to raise $5000. Even if you can't help, just a share can! Thanks in advance. Will post updates on Ashy as we get them.
