I have been Shai's close friend for over 35 years and have created this fundraiser with his family's permission to help with this tragic situation. Shai Rotem sadly passed away on 5/24/2021 at 10:30 PM with no access to his needed oxygen machine. He was struggling with lung disease over the past year. Shai was beloved by countless people all over the world through his travels and has left a very large hole for us.
