Hello all,
As many of you know, I worked in Afghanistan from 2011 - 2012. My former colleague - Shaheed Sangin - recently suffered a terrible tragedy. At 31, he suffered a heart attack, leaving behind his wife, son, and daughter.
Shaheed was the sole breadwinner for his family, mother and sister. His father was killed at a young age during Afghanistan’s civil war, so he and his brother Naiemullah have provided for his family ever since they were able to work.
Shaheed and I worked closely together for just about a year. He was kind, creative, hardworking, and wanted to be part of building a better future for Afghanistan.
After working with me, he went on to get an MBA, and was working as a civil servant in Afghanistan’s government when he passed. He had managed to provide for his family but didn’t have significant savings. I would be grateful if you could help with a contribution - whatever you can give - to support his wife, young children and mother. Funds will be transferred through his brother Naiemullah.
