Shadows Of Honor a film for change
Donation protected
From HERO to HOMELESS.
Many of our brave service men and women suffer wounds we cannot see, such as severe post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries. Without recognizing the severety of these health problems, our veterans are vulnerable to a life in the shadows as they lose their relationships, jobs, and homes.
SHADOWS OF HONOR is a Screen Actors Guild (SAG)
short film that addresses the need for better understanding of what these veterans are facing.
Anthony, who recently lost his father, learns that giving up his summer to run the family business is nothing compared to what some of his new friends are facing.
Judgemental, and intolerant at first, Anthony gets a lesson in HONOR.
Producing this film is a passion of mine which has come about from conversations with area veterans.
We are proud to have veterans on both cast and crew.
The funds raised through this campaign are necessary to pay for equipment, salaries, permits, lodging, and food! Yes, a well fed crew is a happpy crew!
We are filming the end of June and hope to have all funds in place to allow us to move ahead with production.
To my family, friends, and those of you I've had the priveledge of working with over the years, I appreciate your support more than I can put into words.
Some photos and video in this campaign were provided to us by the Department Of Defense stock photos and video, and NATO Channel. Our video was shot and edited by J.R. Fondessy, graphics provided by Frank Mondaruli.
